We Will Never Forget

The cowardly terrorist attacks against the United States on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, DC will certainly be remembered as one of the most horrific acts ever committed against humanity. Over 3,000 innocent citizens from over 100 countries were attacked and killed without warning or provocation.

As President Bush stated, the attack took place on American soil but it was an attack on the heart and soul of the civilized world -- on every person, every faith, every nation that values human life.

These events have not only touched New York, Washington and Pennsylvania, they have affected all of us in a very real way. To date, Phi Delta Theta knows of nine Phis who perished at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

As our nation continues to heal, our thoughts and prayers are with our fallen Brothers, their families and all those who lost loved ones on that fateful day.

We are also grateful to the brave men and women of our armed services who continue in the fight against terrorism to protect freedom for a safer, peaceful world. We especially honor the memory of those who fought and died in the line of duty, such as Brother Marc Anderson, Case Western. We pray for God's comfort on their family and loved ones.
