2006 Walk to D'feet ALS

Phi Delts for Brother Lou walk signThis is the seventh year of the Walk to D'Feet ALS in Washington, D.C. Here are the details for this year's event:

Sunday, October 22, 2006

WASHINGTON, DC

WHERE: Constitution Gardens
(on the National Mall, next to the WWII Memorial)

WHEN: Sunday, October 22, 2006

TIME: Registration: 9:00 AM
Ceremony: 10:00 AM
Walk Begins: 10:15 AM

DISTANCE: 3 miles (a loop from the Memorial around the Tidal basin & back)

As you likely know, ALS is more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Lou Gehrig was not only a legendary New York Yankee, but he was also a Brother in the Bond of Phi Delta Theta.

Every year, to honor his memory, the Phi Delta Theta Washington, DC alumni club forms a walk team,
"Phi Delts for Brother Lou", and participates with undergraduates and alumni alike, in the DC walk.
