2006 Walk to D'feet ALS
This is the seventh year of the Walk to D'Feet ALS in Washington, D.C. Here are the details for this year's event:

WASHINGTON, DC
WHERE: Constitution Gardens
(on the National Mall, next to the WWII Memorial)
WHEN: Sunday, October 22, 2006
TIME: Registration: 9:00 AM
Ceremony: 10:00 AM
Walk Begins: 10:15 AM
DISTANCE: 3 miles (a loop from the Memorial around the Tidal basin & back)
As you likely know, ALS is more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Lou Gehrig was not only a legendary New York Yankee, but he was also a Brother in the Bond of Phi Delta Theta.
Every year, to honor his memory, the Phi Delta Theta Washington, DC alumni club forms a walk team, "Phi Delts for Brother Lou", and participates with undergraduates and alumni alike, in the DC walk.
